369 Congress Street
Client: Channel Trust
Project Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Project Type: Facade Restoration
Scope:
Restore and repair the deteriorating façade of an 8‑story, 57,000 SF historic building situated within the Fort Point Channel Landmark District, preserving its original character while upgrading materials and systems for long‑term durability.
Services:
This project involved facade repair and restoration of a circa 1918 former industrial building in the heart of Boston’s booming Seaport District. GRLA worked closely with the building’s owner, the City of Boston Landmarks Commission, and the Contractor to restore the crumbling concrete facade while preserving the building’s character within the neighborhood.
In addition to the work on the facade, GRLA completed an investigation and repair of spalling issues at multiple locations, and oversaw masonry re-pointing and replacement of window sealant systems.
