GRLA conducted a comprehensive facilities condition assessment of four elementary schools in the Town of Concord.
The assessment incorporated a comprehensive walk-through audit and evaluation of the existing buildings and their systems including:
Site elements
Architectural elements and code issues
Building envelope elements
Structural components
Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical and Fire Protection systems
HAZMAT
Upon completion of the evaluation, GRLA prepared a report that included the following details.
Observations, assessments and analyses with recommendations for repair/replacement.
Expected remaining service life of building envelope components, interiors, and mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems
Identification of compliance issues with building, fire, and life safety codes as well as handicap accessibility
Priorities for maintenance, repair, and replacement to assist the School Department in their development of a 10-year capital plan
A cost estimate for recommended replacement and maintenance work
