Methuen, MA

St. Ann’s Home & School, situated in Methuen, Massachusetts, provides residential, educational and outpatient services and care tailored for children who require therapeutic, emotional, behavioral, and/or social services and care in a safe, caring, and supportive environment. The existing historic school building presented challenges, as it was not readily accessible at the main entry, as are so many older buildings of this vintage. In response to this need, GRLA designed a new accessible entry, as well as a new elevator core to facilitate access to the fi rst three levels, signifi cantly improving both the safety and security of the entryway.

GRLA collaborated with Siena Construction Company to complete the renovation just in time for the 100th anniversary celebration of St. Ann’s Home & School in November 2025.
